Design Process

Our approach to design begins with a thorough investigation of the project site.  We seek to produce a design that is not only appropriate within the existing community, but also heightens the intrinsic qualities of that community and creates a sense of place.  We use well-established site planning and layout strategies in every professional endeavor.  These strategies integrate planning, programming, and design in order to meet and exceed overall goals.  While designs range in scale from large mixed-used high rise and multi-family residential projects to urban infill and interior upfits, we ensure the correct care and attention is given to each project. We believe in an inclusive and collaborative design process which takes into consideration the specific needs of the client as well as the broader needs of the community. This is achieved not only by actively seeking client input throughout the design process, but also by studying changes in the community in order to ensure the final product is regionally driven.
